"League Still Wide Open"...Lobi Stars Coach
Lobi stars Head ,Coach Eugene Agagbe of Lobi Stars has declared that the race for the 2023/2024 NPFL season is still open for any team to emerge winners.
Lobi Stars were held to a 1-1 draw with Bayelsa United in a match day 27 NPFL encounter in Lafia, which paved the way for Rangers to leapfrog the Pride of Benue at the top of the log.
He noted that the draw has motivated him to work harder saying that the Lobi Stars has not relinquished the league to any team.
"I will not say that I am down for the result because it is part of the game. We also defeated them in their home ground and they also came here to take something and they were lucky to have it.
"It's just unfortunate the players lost focus. I don't like giblamelames to players because they are the same players who will still play your game tomorrow. We will go to the drawing board and correct the mistakes they made today so that they will have a better game in their next game away.
"The league is still open. We still have about eleven games to go. As I earlier said, we will do our best and end among the first three. All we are looking for is to go to the continperadventurenture if something comes for us to lift the trophy, we will lift the trophy.
"I have not given the trophy to anyone yet because the league is still open. I can as well go away and also win. This draw doesn't bother me because it has given me the room to work harder for the next game." (BSN)
