Management of Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) don sack three lecturers over serious gbèsè wey concern sexual harassment.

 

Di people wey dem sack na:

• Nurudeen Hassan from Mass Communication Department

• Kareem Arigbabu and

• Olayinka Uthman, both from Arts and Design Department.

 

Di university take this action after dem do proper investigation and the Governing Council come sit down reason am well.

 

According to one internal memo titled “Dismissal of Staff Members Due to Sexual Harassment Allegations,” di sack na based on Section 5.5.2(v) of LASUSTECH Senior Staff Conditions of Service.

 

Part of wetin the memo talk be say:

“The Governing Council don take bold step after dem check all the matter well. As e be now, di three staff don chop sack sharp-sharp.”

 

Di school still stand gidigba say dem no go gree nonsense when e come to sexual harassment, and dem dey serious to keep the school safe and respectful for everybody.

 

LASUSTECH yarn say any kain sexual misbehavior dey damage the image of the school and disturb the learning environment. So this decision show say dem no dey take such matter play at all.
