The Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) has released an official statement announcing plans for a bye-election to fill a vacant position on its board.

According to the statement signed by Mrs. Vera Jato Okechukwu, Secretary of the Lagos FA, the Electoral Committee, chaired by Alhaji Azeez Tijani, has outlined the election timetable, with the bye-election scheduled for November 1, 2025.

Nomination forms will be available for purchase at the LSFA Secretariat, 146/148 Ogunlana Drive, Surulere, Lagos, from October 13 to 17, 2025, at a cost of ₦250,000. The screening of candidates is slated for October 23, 2025.

The LSFA emphasized that the process will be conducted in line with its statutes to ensure transparency, fairness, and integrity in the election.
