The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Coach Bola Adisa Mogaji, has pledged the commission’s support for the TSO Football Tournament in line with the Renewed Hope sports development initiative.

 

Coach Mogaji made the commitment while receiving the Director of Football of the organisation, Bashir Badawiy, during a courtesy visit to his office in Ilorin.

 

During the meeting, the sports commission boss commended the organisation’s efforts in using football as a platform to engage young people and promote grassroots sports development. He assured that the Kwara State Sports Commission would support the initiative in achieving its objectives.

 

Mogaji emphasised the importance of collaborative efforts between sports organisations and government agencies to create more opportunities for youths, nurture talents, and strengthen sports development across the state.

 

In his remarks, Bashir Badawiy appreciated the warm reception and briefed the chairman on the goals and structure of the TSO Football Tournament. He noted that the competition is designed to discover and develop young football talents while promoting unity and positive engagement among youths.

 

He expressed optimism that with the support of the Kwara State Sports Commission, the tournament would grow into a major platform for grassroots football development in the state and beyond.
