Suleiman Kwande, Chairman of Plateau State Football Association 
has promised to support the newly appointed Caretaker Committee of the Plateau State Chapter of the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria, PFAN, led by former Super Eagles striker, Ben Akwuegbu.

 The 12-member Committee was appointed last week by the National President of PFAN, Tijani Babangida.

Kwande, a former Board Member of the Nigeria Football Association, handed down his executive backing when the PFAN Caretaker Committee paid him a courtesy visit in his Jos office.

"I'm excited and happy to receive you in my office today. I'm happy with the composition of of the committee with highly experienced ex Footballers", Kwande said.

"We're partners in progress and I promise to give my full support to you and your organization.

"Whatever will bring progress and development to sports and football in particular in the state, you can readily count on my support and collaboration.

"I'm excited about this development and please, feel free at anytime to walk into my office for any form of assistance.

"Progress can only be attained when we work together", Kwande said.

The former Super Eagles striker, Akwuegbu is also Consultant to the Plateau State governor, Caleb Muftwang on Sports and to the state owned team, Plateau United.
