Di Kogi State Government don talk say di homecoming wey Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and her supporters do for Okene Local Government na big security wahala and e violate di ban wey dem don put for political gatherings.

 

Di Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo, talk dis one for statement on Tuesday, after di senator go against government and police warning do her gathering.

 

Before di event, both di Kogi State Government and police don issue warning say make nobody do political rally because of security concern. Di police even talk say dem get intel say some bad boys wan hijack di event.

 

But di senator wey dem suspend from Senate and her supporters no gree hear word, dem still go ahead do di homecoming.

 

Akpoti-Uduaghan talk say she no do anything illegal, say people get right to gather and celebrate.

 

“We get right to be free, to express our choice for gatherings and celebrations,” she talk.

 

But Fanwo no gree, e say di senator dey always show say she no like obey law.

 

“Suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan don show again say she no dey respect law. She sabi use lie and deceive people for politics. She sabi find trouble and when dem call am out, she go begin play victim,” e talk.

 

Before di homecoming, di senator post one message for Facebook wey she later delete. She talk say if anything happen to her, make Nigerians hold Governor Usman Ododo, former governor Yahaya Bello, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio responsible.

 

Dis one don make government vex as Fanwo call di post reckless and malicious, say na strategy to find trouble for Kogi Central.

 

Meanwhile, di senator dey still para for di six-month suspension wey Senate give her. She say e no follow and na political wahala dem wan take remove her from Senate. She still stand by her sexual harassment allegation against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

 

Plenty Kogi Central people don complain say dem no go get senator for six months, while some don even start recall process to comot her from Senate. INEC don confirm say dem receive petition wey 250,000 voters sign, and dem don ready to move di process forward.

 

For now, di wahala between Akpoti-Uduaghan and di government never end, as everybody dey wait for wetin go happen next.
