NLO 1 clubside, Kings FC has ended its week long playing tour of the Gwagwalada Area Council in Abuja.

The Team which missed promotion to the Nigeria National League last season by whiskers, began early preparation for the new football season.

The Samuel Abimbola led boys played a goalless draw with Medical Strikers, beat Sensational Stars by two goals to nil and Mamba PRO by three goals to one.

Speaking at the end of the tour, the Technical Adviser of the team who was a former National U.17 and U20 Coach expressed satisfaction for the quality of oppositions he met in Gwagwalada, saying that his team benefitted immensely from their technical abilities.

Quoting his words, the former Sunshine Stars Head Coach said "the results of the matches was not my concern, but the ability of my boys to respond to any given situation. I have seen the lapses, and we are returning home to make corrections in readiness for the new. We sincerely appreciate the Gwagwalada FA for giving us the opportunity " he concluded.

It could be recalled that Kings FC lost promotion to the Nigeria National League last season, after emerging champions at the Abuja center of the NLO.
