Kebbi State Govment don start arrangement for mass wedding wey go join 300 couples together on February 27.

Chairman of di Organizing Committee, Alhaji Suleiman Argungu, talk dis one for Birnin Kebbi on Sunday. E say di event dey happen with support from Nafisa Nasir Charity Development Foundation (NANAS).

As part of di plan, govment don set up committees wey go check di health of di couples before dem marry. Dem go do pregnancy test, genotype test, and HIV/AIDS test to follow di law for marriage inside di state.

Argungu talk say di mass wedding na wetin Governor Nasir Idris promise before, and e show say di govment still dey support people wey no get money to Marry

• Kebbi govment go pay N180,000 as bride price for each woman.

• Di total money for all di 300 couples na N54 million.

• Govment go still give dem household items like furniture and foodstuff to help dem start dia marriage well.

Dis wedding go help plenty people wey wan marry but no get money to do am.
