The stage is set for an exciting football extravaganza as the 2nd Edition of the NFF President Pre -Season Tournament for Nigeria National League (NNL) clubs gets underway in Kano.

The tournament organised by BABS Integrated Services, Nigeria and ex International, Tijani Babangida (MON) in collaboration with the Kano State Football Association, is scheduled to run from October 20th to November 1st, 2025 and will feature top teams across the country.

The matches will be played at the Prestigious Sani Abacha Stadium and Sabon Gari stadium, both located in the historic city of Kano with 20 NNL clubs as a means for preparation for the upcoming NNL season scheduled for kickoff November 8th, 2025.

Last year's edition, held in Kaduna, was a resounding success, with Yobe Desert Stars emerging as champions. The tournament final was attended by top dignitaries, including the NFF President, the Kaduna State Commissioner for Sports Development, who represented His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, the Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, the Kaduna State Football Association Chairman, about 15 State FA Chairmen, and other esteemed guests

. This year's edition promises to be just as exciting, with same dignitaries and other top stakeholders expected to be in attendance for the finals at the Sani Abacha Stadium. The tournament is set to bring together the best of Nigerian football, showcasing talents, skills and determination.
