Kano Pillars have recalled coach Usman Abd'Allah who had been suspended for over two months now, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

Abd'Allah, a former Enyimba manager was put in the cooler by the hierarchy of the Sai Masu Gida side following an alleged altercation with a section of the supporters of the club after a league match in Kano.

Following his suspension, his Assistant and Chief Coach of the club, Ahmed Garba, a.k.a 'Yaro Yaro', was handed temporary charge of the team.

Yaro Yaro', a former Nigeria international and 2003 CAF Champions League winner with Enyimba, took the team through 11 matches, with four wins, four draws and three losses.

But on Friday, 28 March, 2025, Kano Pillars Management communicated Abd'Allah, informing that his suspension has been lifted and that he should resume work on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.

"Yes, the suspension has been lifted", Coach Abd'Allah responded when Exclusivenews.com.ng called him up Tuesday morning.

"As we speak now, I'm on my way to training. Please let's talk later", Abd'Allah demanded as he hung up.
Abd'Allah's first game on return to Kano Pillars dug out will be a matchday 32 trip to Heartland at Dan Anyiam Stadium this weekend.

Kano Pillars are 8th on the standings with 44 points while Heartland are 17th with 35 points.
