A mother of six, Tabitha Iliya, don carry her husband, Iliya Yaran, go Upper Customary Court for Daura Road, Kaduna, on Thursday, ask make the court end their marriage due to lack of love, neglect, and domestic abuse.

• No Love or Support:

Tabitha tell the court say her husband no dey provide for the family, so she had to find help elsewhere.

• Admits to Affair:

She confess say she entered relationship with another man wey help her pay for her daughter’s medical bills.

• No More Intimacy:

Since the incident, she stop any form of closeness with her husband, who she say only comes home once every three months because of work.

• Abuse Allegations:

She accuse her husband of verbal and physical abuse and say she moved out of their house over a year ago.

• Accused of Prostitution:

One time, she follow friend go bar, and her husband see her there. He accuse her of being a prostitute, even call their son to witness the drama.

• Threats to Her Life:

Tabitha also claim say her husband threaten her life and allegedly tried to harm her through diabolical means.

 

During cross-examination, Judge Patience Musa ask her if she get HIV, and she answered yes, saying she contracted it “from God.”

 

She make it clear say:

 

“I no love am again. I just want peace of mind.”

After court adjourned the matter for the defence hearing, Yaran threaten Tabitha in public, saying:

 

“You are still my wife. If I see you with another man, you go blame yourself.”

 

The judge sharply warned him, noting say the threat don enter official court record and say if anything happen to Tabitha, he go be held responsible
