The opening day of the highly anticipated Jagaban Cup at the Legacy Pitch, National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, featured an impressive total of 13 goals across 4 matches.

In the first match at 7am, the well-regarded Ikorodu City lost 2-0 to 36 Lion.

FC Bethel and Broad City played to an exciting 1-1 draw.

The third match was a nail-biter, with SGFC edging out Ijebu United 3-2 in a thrilling contest.

The final game of the day saw Imperial defeat Dino SC with a score of 3-1.

Joel Ashaku was named Man of the Match after scoring two goals, while Bashir Adbulkareem also found the net. Stephen Shedrack managed to score a consolation goal for Dino.

Since there is no offside rule in play, fans can expect even more goals tomorrow in the scouting tournament, starting at 7am at the Legacy Pitch.
