Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has strongly denied allegations that she supplied an aphrodisiac to her goddaughter to help her attract wealthy men.

Reacting to claims circulated by controversial blog Gistlover, the actress described the accusation as “a lie from the pit of hell,” insisting she has never been involved in such acts.

In a statement, Ojo said, “Saying I gave Fola any form of Kayatama is a lie from the pit of hell. May God punish whoever is sending those lies. I have never asked her anything about her relationship. She is an adult; I don’t know who she is dating, and nothing concerns me.”

She further stressed that she does not use or patronise aphrodisiacs, questioning how she could give something she does not have. According to her, her relationship with Fola was strictly mentorship-based.

“Fola is not my friend; she was a lady I helped who later became a goddaughter of mine. I don’t discuss intimate matters with goddaughters. I am a very strict and busy person,” she stated.

The actress added that she supported Fola in her business ventures and legal challenges, noting that her only intention was to see her succeed independently.

“I helped her in so many ways with her business and legal battles. Now, to the glory of God, she is doing well for herself. That was my goal with her — nothing more, nothing less,” Ojo concluded.

The allegations have since sparked conversations on social media, with supporters and critics weighing in on the claims and the actress’s response.
