Iloenyosi Sees Better Days For Nigeria Football After Appointment Into NFF Players Status Committee

Chikelue Iloenyosi, a former Super Eagles bully defender and incumbent Chairman of Anambra State Football Association, says Nigeria football is heading for the skies under the leadership of Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau as NFF President.
Iloenyosi, who is called 'General', reckons that days are come when players, as the main actors in the football industry, are accorded their rightful spot in their chosen profession.
The 'Capacity Chairman' voiced his views on the future of the game and its actors after the inauguration of Players Status Committee by the NFF helmsman, Ibrahim Gusau, at the NFF Secretariat, Abuja, on Wednesday.
The Players Status Committee is among five Sub-Committees inaugurated the NFF President in Abuja, on Wednesday.
"I believe better days are here for Nigeria football. You can feel it, you can see it since the Ibrahim Gusau led NFF came on board", Iloenyosi, who has rediscovered football in Anambra State with a well cut out Grassroot Football Development policy since he came on board in July 2022 began.
"Yes, the future of the game is bright and I must say it good the players, as the major actors, are in for a better deal".
The Players Status Committee has Otunba Sunday Dele-Ajayi as Chairman with Timothy Heman Magaji as Vice Chairman.
Patrick Pascal (MON), another former Super Eagles player, Austin Popo, Jude Anyadifu, a former Enyimba of Aba Sporting Director and Mallam Audu Sabo, Mr. Austin Popo are members.
Chief Felix Anyansi-Agwu, former Enyimba of Aba Chairman and 1st Vice President of NFF heads the Organizing Committee, with NFF 2nd Vice President, Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye as Vice Chairman.
Sir Emmanuel Ochiagha, Mr. Calistus Ebare, Hon. Godfrey Gaiya, Mrs Dilichukwu Onyedinma and Abba Mouktar Mohammed will serve in the Committee as members.
The Media Committee is headed by Ms Aisha Falode, with another Member of the NFF Executive Committee, Mr. George Aluo as Vice Chairman. Members are Mr. Godwin Enakhena, Alhaji Shu’aibu Mungadi, Mr. Frank Ilaboya, Lirwanu Malikawa Idris and Mr. Gabriel Aborowa.
Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi is Chairman of the Youth Football Committee, with Silas Agara, former Nasarawa State Deputy Governor as Vice Chairman. Members are Victor Okechukwu Apugo, Hon. Dele Ologun, Mr. Aku Thompson Oladimeji, Senator Moses Cleopas and Hon. Bala Usman Chamo.
Rt. Hon. Margaret Icheen is Chairman of Protocol and Ceremonial Committee. Alhaji Majekodunmi is Vice Chairman, with Mallam Bakura Abubakar, Mr. Obioma Onyeaghala, Habibu Abdu Fagge, Alhaji Usman Ibrahim Pate and Mr. Mojeed Adegbindin as members.
