"I must commend the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Charles Chukwuma Soludo, for his immense support and love for sports, particularly, football.

"He's provided the enabling environment for sports to thrive in the state", Iloenyosi stressed.

In the opening match, Obosi All Stars came from behind to claim a famous 2-1 win against title holders, Anbra State All Stars, Onitsha.

Arinze Chukwurah of Obosi All Stars emerged the hero on the night as his brace helped Obosi All Stars to begin their campaign in Flying colours.
