Ifeanyi Ekwueme, a football legens and Enyimba Sporting Director, has showered Hon Alex Mascot Ikwechegh with praises for his unwavering moral support to Enyimba FC, the pride of Abịa State. Hon Alex Mascot Ikwechegh, the revered member representing Aba North and South federal Constituency, has been a pillar of strength for the club, always lending his support both on and off the field.

Ekwueme highlighted the significant impact of Hon Alex Mascot Ikwechegh's backing, stating that it has boosted the morale of the team and instilled a sense of determination to win the league for the people of Abịa State. The member's constant encouragement and belief in the team have ignited a spirit of unity and encouraged Enyimba FC to give their all in every match.

Ifeanyi Ekwueme expressed his gratitude to Hon Alex Mascot Ikwechegh, recognizing his efforts in uplifting the sporting community of Abịa State. With Hon Alex Mascot Ikwechegh's continued support, Ekwueme firmly believes that Enyimba FC will emerge victorious in the league, bringing pride and joy to the people of Abịa State.

Speaking during the visit of the House of Rep member, Mr Ifeanyi Ekwueme the club's Sporting Director said “I commend you for coming to show us support today and cheers us to victory which is very important to us this crucial time as we battle to defend the league with few matches to go. There's nothing like this show of support from a great man and a big supporter of this club like you, we appreciate you and you thank you for coming. Enyimba is an entity and our aim from when we arrived with our chairman King Kanu is to maintain the energy and pedigree of which the club is known for. We'll do our best to win the league this season for all Abians and Enyimba fans worldwide.

Hon Alex Mascot Ikwechegh' while thanking the Enyimba FC family and his constitutents said “When I got elected as a House member, I knew the expectations were high but deep within me I know that I am desperate to serve my people. Mind you, I am not desperate for the position but desperate to serve and provide support for my people. “And so when I came here after my inauguration as a member of the House of Representatives, my mind has been burdened as to when I should go back to my people to say thank you for supporting me to be victorious in the election. So, after a few months of engagement and the House embarked on recess, I went back to my constituency, in fact from one community to the other to tell them a big thank you for standing by me,” he said.

He went further to praise the new Enyimba administration lead by Kanu Nwankwo "Enyimba is our club, the people's club and everybody born in this great City of Aba is a big fan of this club no matter where they come from. Enyimba is our pride and joy giver in times of hardship. This new administration of this club is doing great and we all must rally round to show our support to them and the club. It not easy taking over a club who just won the league from a past successful administration and then maintain the momentum of defending the league again. This is why I give it to the management for their job well done which the whole of Abịa State and all Enyimba supporters around the globe are proud of". He said.
