Tournament favourites, Imo Strikers, will have to work hard enough to overcome Papa Soccer in today's top of the bills quarter final pairings of the 2023 edition of Ifeanyi Chiejine Memorial Cup Championship holding at the famous St Patrick's College, SPC, Asaba, Delta State, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

The epic clash has been slated to kick off at 1:20pm with the eventual winner earning the bragging right for a semi final ticket.

Imo Strikers have been top on everyone's lips here with their eye-catching performances and free scoring instints althrough the group games.

They won all their three group matches, scoring a total of eight (8) goals and never conceded any. Besides, they parade a certain rampant striker, Chidi Harmony who singlehandedly accounted for five of her team's eight goals so far.

Her pace could pose a handful for Papa Soccer in this one if given the freedom to run her show.

Before the Imo Strikers vs Papa Soccer clash, Fortress Ladies will get the quarter finals fixtures underway when they face Awka Angels at 12noon.

All quarter final matches will be concluded today to set the stage for the semi finals on Friday, December 15, 2023.
