Sultana, a housemate on Big Brother Naija Season 10, has shared a deeply personal story about her past, revealing that she was married off as a child.
During a conversation with fellow housemate Jason Jae in the garden, Sultana disclosed that she was 15 years old when she was married and is now a mother of two daughters.
Sultana admitted that the marriage was not something she wanted, but she credited her "stubbornness" with helping her escape the situation.
"I was married off really young as a child," Sultana said. When Jason Jae asked her age at the time, she replied, "I was about 15."
She continued, "Was it something I wanted? No, but it happened and the thing is my stubbornness got me out of it." She also mentioned her love for piercings and tattoos, adding that she has hesitated to get a tattoo she truly wants out of consideration for her mother.
