Leader of Kwankwasiyya Movement and former presidential candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, don declare say e no go ever dump im political beliefs because of personal gain.

 

Kwankwaso talk this one for Kano on Friday while e dey address supporters for im residence, shortly after report come out say Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, alongside some local government chairmen, House of Representatives members and political aides, don resign from NNPP.

 

The former Kano governor insist say from day one, im political journey na to uplift ordinary Nigerians, and say e still dey committed to the ideals wey give birth to Kwankwasiyya Movement.

 

“I no be for sale. Na our political convictions dey keep me grounded. If na personal benefit I dey find, I for don take the easy road, and una for dey find me for another place, not here,” Kwankwaso talk.

 

E add say the Kwankwasiyya Movement don survive over the years not because of money or material things, but because of shared values, sacrifice and strong belief.

 

“Our shared vision na wetin dey push me. If greed be my motivation, I for don take the money waka, and una no go dey here today to show support,” e add.

 

Kwankwaso also urge im supporters make dem begin early mobilisation towards the 2027 general elections, and warn dem make dem no lose hope because of recent political happenings for the state.

 

“We need people like una wey don sacrifice and stand for truth. Make una no relent, because one day, we go achieve our goals,” e say.

 

The NNPP chieftain say the situation for Kano need serious preparation, claiming say some people dey determined to destroy wetin the movement don build over time.

 

“Looking at wetin dey happen for Kano today, we need to start preparing, because some forces dey hell-bent on scattering wetin we don build for years,” e state.

 

Kwankwaso further assure im supporters say e go continue to defend the interest of ordinary people.

 

“My mission na to always fight for the common man. I no go compromise with people wey dey exploit the masses,” e conclude.
