Afrobeats legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has opened up about regrets surrounding some of his past actions, admitting that he made mistakes in both his professional journey and personal life.

 

Speaking during a recent appearance on the Mic On podcast, the award-winning singer reflected candidly on moments he wishes he could change. According to him, pressure and emotional overload played a significant role in some of the decisions he made.

 

“There are so many things I wish I could rewind and do better,” 2Baba said. “As a human being, there are times when you are overwhelmed.”

 

The music icon explained that being constantly overwhelmed sometimes led him to make poor choices, noting that his resilience has changed over time. “My thick-skin is weaker now,” he added, suggesting a more reflective and self-aware phase in his life.

 

2Baba also addressed reports of an alleged altercation involving his wife, Natasha Osawaru, in London. Taking responsibility, the singer acknowledged that his emotions got the better of him during the incident.

 

“I was angry that day. It was an unfortunate incident,” he said.
