President Bola Tinubu has reassured Nigerians of his administration's commitment to delivering tangible results and making a positive impact on the nation's infrastructure, food and energy security, education, and long-term economic stability. In a meeting with the Forum of Former Presiding Officers of the National Assembly, led by former Senate President Ken Nnamani, President Tinubu emphasized that he is not driven by personal gain, but rather a desire to serve the country. 

"I didn't come to look for money and exploit the situation; I came to work," President Tinubu stated, highlighting his commitment to addressing Nigeria's challenges. He acknowledged the support from the Forum members, despite party affiliations, and encouraged them to continue fostering unity and collaboration for national development .

President Tinubu reflected on Nigeria's past mistakes, citing neglected communities, poor education, and inadequate infrastructure. "We forgot to educate our children. Go round and look at the dilapidated schools. The education environment must be decent enough for pupils to want to learn," he said. 

The President outlined his administration's focus areas:

- *Improving Infrastructure*: Enhancing roads, transportation, and public services
- *Ensuring Financial Compliance*: Strengthening financial regulations and accountability
- *Exploring Alternative Energy*: Investing in renewable energy sources
- *Providing Energy Security*: Ensuring reliable and sustainable energy supply 

Senator Nnamani expressed full support for President Tinubu's administration, praising his courage in addressing local government autonomy. "We believe that with your experience, you can face the difficulties and surmount them," Nnamani said. 

The meeting marked President Tinubu's first official engagement with the Forum since taking office. The group pledged to unite across party lines to contribute to nation-building and ensuring prosperity for Nigerian citizens
