An Aba based businessman , Hon. M. I. Oba has applauded Ndi Abia for their resilience in the outgoing  year 2024. 

He appreciated the people of Abia State  for the progress made despite economic challenges. He said Governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti's administration in the state has brought unprecedented infrastructural development and good leadership to the state, putting smiles on the faces of Ndi Abia.

"The year 2024 was marked by mixed feelings, but the average Abia man demonstrated remarkable resilience and resourcefulness in the face of adversity. As the state looks forward to 2025, Governor Otti's administration is poised to continue delivering the dividends of democracy.

He outlined some of the notable achievements of the Otti administration to include:

- *Infrastructure Development*: The rehabilitation of key roads, such as the Dozie Way, and the commissioning of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Secretariat.
- *Economic Empowerment*: The Abia State Government has partnered with the Bank of Industry to achieve industrialization, signing a N10 Billion Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
- *Water Provision*: The acquisition of an industrial drilling rig to provide potable water to communities across the state.

He prayed that as Abia State enters a new year, the people should be optimistic about the future, reflecting on their core values and traditions that have placed them at an enviable state. He said with Governor Otti's leadership, Ndi Abia should be confident that 2025 will bring even more progress and development.
