The Chairman Eziukwu Road Market Aba,Hon. Oba Moses Ibe On Sunday joined The Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, in celebrating Mothering Sunday with women at St. Michael's Anglican Church Cathedral, Aba, and Stella Maris Catholic Parish, Abayi Aba. The event, which took place on March 30, 2025, was a momentous occasion for the women and mothers of Abia State.

Governor Otti expressed his gratitude to the women and mothers for their unwavering support and roles in shaping society. He also thanked the Church for their support during the 2023 election, particularly acknowledging the women and mothers for their consistent backing of his administration. In his address, Governor Otti highlighted the importance of mothers, quoting Cardinal Mermmillod, "A mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take."

The Bishop of Aba Diocese, Rt. Rev. Christian C. Ugwuzor, introduced Governor Otti and his entourage, thanking God for the Governor's leadership in rescuing Abia State from bad governance. He also enumerated the various road projects executed by Governor Otti's administration, including Ohanku, Omuma, Obiohia, and Port-Harcourt Roads.

Later, at Stella Maris Catholic Parish, Governor Otti participated in the mass and thanked the women's wing for inviting him. He pledged to support the women's water business project, complementing the efforts of his wife, Her Excellency, Mrs. Priscilla Chidimma Otti. Other notable attendees included Hon. Chimaobi Ebisike, Sir Emmanuel Otti, Hon. Aaron Uzodike, and Hon. Fyne Ahuama, among others.
