Nigerian woman Helen Loveth, who testified at Evangelist Ebuka Obi’s Zion Ministry about acquiring a N500 million mansion, has admitted that her claim was false.

Loveth initially attributed the purchase of the five-bedroom luxury home to divine intervention. However, over the weekend, social media erupted after she was spotted selling drinks in Enugu. A viral video showed people confronting her, leading to Prophet Ebuka Obi publicly distancing himself from her testimony.

During questioning, a visibly shaken Loveth explained that she gave the testimony as an “act of faith” because she was still in the process of acquiring the house.

Following her arrest, she clarified: “I did not build the house. We’re in the process of buying it. I have checked it, and the agent said we should go and meet the landlord. It is not mine yet. I don’t own any house.”

When asked for the property’s address, she admitted, “I don’t own it yet. I wanted to pay in instalments.”
