Al Ittihad Women delivered a ruthless performance in the Saudi Women’s Premier League, crushing Al-Taraji 9-0 in a statement victory on Saturday evening.

Nigerian stars Francisca Ordega and Ashleigh Plumptre stole the show, leading the charge in a dominant display that saw Al Ittihad claim a crucial three points after a rough spell of results.

Ordega was unstoppable, netting a stunning hat-trick and providing an assist, while Plumptre contributed a goal and three assists in a playmaking masterclass.

The floodgates opened in the 22nd minute when Plumptre fired in the opener, and just three minutes later, Raneem Al Sharif doubled the lead. Ordega got on the scoresheet in the 33rd minute before Al Sharif struck again to give Al Ittihad a commanding 4-0 halftime lead.

The second half saw no respite for Al-Taraji, as Lili Iskandar (48’), Farah Jefry (63’), and Ordega (66’, 72’) added to the rout. Fatimah Mansour capped off the thrashing in stoppage time, sealing Al Ittihad’s biggest win of the season.

This emphatic victory ended a seven-game winless run for Al Ittihad, lifting them to seventh place with 21 points. Meanwhile, Al-Taraji remain bottom of the table, still searching for their first point of the season.

With five goals and three assists since joining the club, Ordega continues to make an instant impact, while Plumptre now leads the team in assists with four.

Al Ittihad will aim to build on this momentum when they face Al Shabab Women next month.
