Some armed men don kidnap Emorioloye Owoloemi, one of the officials of Asiwaju Media Team, APC support group wey dey campaign for President Bola Tinubu re-election for Ondo State.

 

Chairperson of Ilaje Local Government Area, Maurice Oripenaye, confirm the incident to journalists for Akure on Sunday. According to am, the abduction happen on Thursday around 9:00am.

 

Oripenaye explain say the gunmen carry two Toyota Hilux SUVs come, then kidnap Owoloemi from him office around Okonga/Olodo junction, Igbokoda. Since that time, nobody know where the APC media aide dey.

 

The council chairman condemn the kidnapping strongly, describe am as pure criminal act wey no suppose happen at all. E say such action no acceptable and dey threaten peace and security for the area.

 

As at the time of this report, security agencies never officially release statement on the incident, while residents and political stakeholders dey call for urgent action to secure Owoloemi release and arrest the people behind the crime.
