The Speaker Abia State House of Assembly, RT. Hon. Emmanuel Ihuoma Emeruwa on Saturday the 23rd of December in collaboration with the Ezumezu Aba La Ohazu hosted the Governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti to a grand civic reception in Aba.

 

The event which was held at the field of the Abia State College Of Health and management Science, saw the presence of top personalities in Aba and Abia State in attendance.

Speaking at the occasion the Governor reiterated his assurance to the people of  Aba and Abians of better days ahead, 
He also  revealed that construction work will commence on the long abandoned Obohia and Ohanku roads by January 2024. 

Governor Otti also described the Speaker RT. Hon. Emeruwa as a gift to the good people of Aba La Ohazu and also reiterated his commitment to always work with the State Assembly so as to bring the dividends of democracy to the people of Abia State.

 

The Speaker in his speech thanked the Governor for honouring the invitation and also assured him of his unalloyed support to his government and his commitment to ensure that the State Assembly provides the Governor with the necessary support his administration needs to build a New Abia  and restore it's lost glory.
