Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, don show big love to popular gospel musician and radio owner, Yinka Ayefele, as e dash am brand new SUV wey worth millions of naira, just few days after fire burn parts of Ayefele’s Fresh FM station for Ibadan.

 

Na for Tuesday, people see the motor as dem drive am enter Fresh FM compound for Challenge area of Ibadan. Ayefele, wey dey happy well well, waka go meet the motor dey sing praise songs with him people.

 

Last Friday night, Fresh FM Nigeria confirm say serious fire catch their head office for Challenge. The fire affect big areas like:

• Fresh 105.9 FM studio

• Blast 98.3 FM studio

• Newsroom

• Transmitter/server room

• And other equipment wey dem use for broadcasting.

 

Staff first try quench the fire with extinguisher, but e no work because the fire strong pass their power. Na when fire service show, dem fit control am small.

 

On Saturday, Governor Makinde visit the station. As he see the damage, he sympathize with Ayefele and say the matter na big eye-opener for the state.

 

“If our fire service been dey better equipped, this kain damage no go happen,” the governor talk.

“We go work on our emergency response and fire stations make dem dey active well.”

 

Makinde thank God say nobody die, and promise say him government go support Fresh FM make dem no stay off-air for long.

 

“Fresh FM dey very important to inform our people. We no go allow dem shut down for long,” he add.

 

In him own response, Ayefele thank Governor Makinde for the visit and appreciate the fans wey stand by them after the fire incident.
