Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, has announced plans to commence the reconstruction of Uratta and Old Express Roads in Aba, a major commercial hub in the state. The announcement was made during a surprise visit to St. Paul's Anglican Church, Abayi Ariaria, Aba, on Sunday, January 25th.

According to Gov. Otti, the state government is determined to complete the recovery of Aba from years of decay and neglect. "We have been trying to recover Aba and I think that we have recovered Aba. But there is still some work to do," he said.

The governor promised that the reconstruction of Uratta and Old Express Roads would be done efficiently, aligning with the state's efforts to revitalize the city's infrastructure. No specific timeline was given for the project.
