Nigerian Midfielder ,Deborah Abiodun, has revealed that the qualifications of the Super Falcons is like a dream come through in her career.

It could be recalled the Super Falcons secured their ticket to the 2024 Olympics in Paris recently by eliminating the Bayana Bayana of South Africa, with Deborah playing a prominent role. 

The Pittsburgh Panthers’ defensive midfielder was a rock-solid defender throughout the qualifiers, with a masterclass in the crucial 1-0 first leg win against South Africa.

Despite an injury forcing her off the pitch midway through the second half, Abiodun’s tireless efforts were instrumental in keeping a clean sheet for the Super Falcons.

Abiodun in a recent interview expressed her gratitude: “Thank you Lord for the Olympic ticket. This means a lot to us. Always a Privilege to represent my Dear Nation and play alongside my strong and Incredible Super Falcons. Work in Progress.”
