Officials from the Ghana Embassy in Nigeria have paid a courtesy visit to Barau FC midfielder, Nana Abraham, who recently sustained a neck injury following an attack incident in Kano.

 

Abraham, who was initially admitted to a private hospital after the incident, has since been discharged and is currently recuperating at home.

 

During the visit, the Embassy delegation expressed gratitude for the player’s recovery, describing his discharge from the hospital as “a welcome development.” The officials also commended the medical team for their prompt response and professionalism, which they said contributed greatly to Abraham’s quick recovery.

 

The delegation further assured that the Embassy would continue to monitor the player’s condition and maintain close communication with Barau FC’s management to ensure his full rehabilitation.

 

Visibly cheerful, Abraham thanked the Ghanaian diplomats, his club, teammates, and fans for their unwavering support throughout his recovery process.

 

Meanwhile, Barau FC management reaffirmed their commitment to player welfare and safety, urging for enhanced security measures around Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match venues to prevent similar incidents in the future.

 

The midfielder is expected to undergo a period of rest and rehabilitation before rejoining team activities.
