Nollywood star Funke Akindele has opened up about her approach to friendships in the entertainment industry. In an interview with Arise TV, Akindele revealed that her closest friends are her siblings and children, with few close relationships outside of her family.

Akindele attributed this to her hectic schedule and preference for spending quality time with her family. "My siblings are my friends. I have acquaintances, but not serious friendships. I'm always busy working, and when I'm not, I'm with my family," she said.

The actress and filmmaker, who runs a studio and produces content for various platforms, emphasized her prioritization of work and family over social events. "I like being in my space. I don't enjoy parties. I'm busy with work and my children, and that's where my focus lies," she added.
