Super Falcons forward Francisca Ordega has made an electrifying start to life in Saudi Arabia, clinching the Player of the Month (POTM) award for March in the Saudi Women’s Premier League after a sensational debut month with Al Ittihad Ladies.

The Nigerian star secured the honor in a landslide fan vote, earning 62% of the total votes—comfortably ahead of her closest rivals, Naomie Kabakaba and fellow Super Falcons teammate Ashleigh Plumptre, who both received 19%.

Ordega wasted no time stamping her authority in the league, notching four goals and contributing seven goal involvements (5 goals and 2 assists) in just three matches for Al Ittihad Ladies.

Her explosive performances helped the team secure two convincing wins—a 3-0 victory over Al-Amal and a 9-0 demolition of Al-Taraji—while narrowly falling 2-1 to unbeaten table-toppers Al-Nassr.

The league confirmed her win via their official X (formerly Twitter) page, stating:

“Francisca Ordega wins the Best Player of the Month award in her first month in our league with 4 goals and 7 contributions.”
