National U-17 Women team Head Coach Bankole Olowookere has called Fosla Academy's duo of Patricia Habilah and Queen Joseph and 32 other players to the camp ahead of their 2024 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifying fixture against their counterparts from the Central African Republic.

The duo who were members of the Fosla Academy team that represented Nigeria at the WAFU Secondary schools Tournament late last year are Junior Secondary school 3 students of the Academy owned by the former President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi.

The list released by Bankole composed of five goalkeepers, nine defenders, seven midfielders and 14 forwards.

The match against Central African Republic will hold in Bangui in the weekend of February 2-4, while the return fixtures will hold on February 10 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium

Olowookere, who along with his assistants from the FIFA World Cup bronze medal-winning feat from India 2022 was restored to his position by the NFF Executive Committee earlier in the week.

The FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup was launched in New Zealand in 2008. Nigeria has featured in every edition of the competition bar one – the 2018 finals held in Uruguay. This year’s FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup will be staged in the Dominican Republic, 16th October – 3rd November.
