The ex-presidential contender Omoyele Sowore, who vied for the presidency in both 2019 and 2023 with the African Action Congress, has officially registered for the upcoming Abuja Mountain Biking Festival. Sowore's registration was processed through the official platform, @Chaingangabuja IG page.
This festival presents a distinctive opportunity for cycling enthusiasts to grasp the essentials of the sport, cultivating an environment conducive for industry leaders to connect and explore business prospects.
Anticipating the event, Mr. Raji Taofik Kolawole, a member of the Organising Committee, expressed contentment with the increasing number of participants with several partners affirming their commitment to being part of this exciting occasion.
"I'm pleasantly surprised by the support from the private sector. The Chaingang Club will showcase stunts and displays while also providing bicycle riding lessons for children. Hood Lounge in Karu will offer a variety of food, drinks, and delicacies to participants and the audience," said Kolawole.
He further emphasized the collaboration with various sponsors, including Bolt, which will provide free rides to the venue. Coltrac is also a proud partner, and the Cycling Federation of Nigeria has endorsed and given the green light for this championship.
"Garki Hospital will be on standby throughout the event, and we appreciate the support from Maubbys, Civil Utilities Engineering, and The Bike Place," Kolawole added.
Standing with Omoyele Sowore, the second edition of the Abuja Mountain Biking Festival promises an enticing cash prize of one million naira for the winner, accompanied by consolation prizes for other participants."
