Former Minister of Police Affairs and ex-Military Governor of Bayelsa State, Navy Captain Omoniyi Caleb Olubolade (retired), don die.

Di retired officer wey come from Ipoti-Ekiti for Ekiti State just mark him 70th birthday on November 30, 2024.

Dem talk say Olubolade die for Apapa, Lagos, on Sunday, May 11.

According to wetin him first daughter, Mrs. Oluwayemisi Akinadewo, and first son, Mr. Dayo Olubolade talk, di man waka comot house go play lawn tennis for one nearby place, but na there he slump.

“Na him drive go di place for evening go play tennis, but he fall down while dem dey play,” dem talk.

“Doctors wey dey around try help am come back to life but e no work. Dem rush am go Obisesan Naval Medical Hospital for Apapa, but na there dem pronounce am dead.”

Before now, Olubolade don serve Nigeria as Minister of Police Affairs, Minister of Special Duties and Minister of State for FCT.
