One lawyer wey im name na Barrister Dennis Gapsiso don deny the rape accusation wey one woman wey dem call Hadiza Baffa carry put for head of former Minister of Special Duties, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN.

 

Di lawyer warn Nigerians make dem no dey do any kind business with Hadiza, say she don scam five of im clients collect total money of ₦27 million.

 

As Gapsiso dey talk to journalists for Abuja on Wednesday, im talk say e dey do am like civil duty make im clear the matter, because of one video wey go viral where Hadiza dey accuse Turaki say e rape her for 2014 and use power make she no fit talk.

 

“My clients – Taye Adewale, Areola Osho, Kolapo Hosieni, Solomon Adenuga, and Omotayo Ifapetu Adiri – dem all fall for Hadiza hand. She tell dem say she be daughter of Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, come use that lie collect different money wey reach ₦27 million,” na so Gapsiso talk.

 

Di lawyer still talk say dem carry petition go Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) for Area 10, Abuja, on August 30, 2021, and dem arrest Hadiza. When dem arrest her, dem even see juju for her hand. “Wetin funny be say she no wan make Turaki hear say police catch her, even though she dey claim say na her papa. That one show say she just dey use the man name anyhow,” Gapsiso talk.

 

Gapsiso come talk say the background check wey him do show say Hadiza first go University of Maiduguri, but later dem move her go Baze University after Turaki help her mama beg make dem help her because of wahala for Maiduguri. But even for Baze, she no finish her first year before dem withdraw her.

 

“She dey go everywhere dey talk say she be first-class law graduate from Baze University, but na lie. Even when she dey school, she dey collect money from the former minister with lie say na for registration and school expenses. But our wahala no be with the minister, na the money wey she scam my clients,” Gapsiso talk.

 

As him dey yarn, Gapsiso talk say Hadiza even lie to one of him client, Mr. Taye Adewale, say she carry belle. “She go meet Adewale family, dem accept her say marriage go happen, but later dem find out say no belle dey at all. After she don collect money, she run,” him talk.

 

E still talk say she scam another client, Kolapo Hosieni, ₦7 million with lie say she go help am get ECOWAS job. “When we check, we see say she no even work for ECOWAS at all. She still collect ₦5 million from Areola Osho with fake house rent matter. Adenuga and Omotayo sef lose money for house wey no exist,” Gapsiso add.

 

The lawyer come talk say Hadiza dey for police cell for some weeks before Turaki come beg. “Barrister Turaki talk say if we fit withdraw the case, e go pay the money. E do am because e no wan make she still dey for detention. But Hadiza no even appreciate am – instead, she come dey accuse am with false rape story,” Gapsiso talk.

 

As e dey end the matter, him warn people make dem shine eye for Hadiza wayo. “People like her na real ungrateful people. Na dem dey make people fear to help others wey really need help,” Gapsiso conclude.

 

As press time reach, nobody fit get Hadiza Baffa – she no pick call or reply message.

 

For the video wey she post on August 17, 2025, Hadiza talk say she go show proof say Turaki rape her, but till now, she never bring any evidence come out or give police.
