The three former Governors of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, Theodore Orji and Okezie Ikpeazu have inaugurated a technical committee tasked with developing a comprehensive blueprint aimed at repositioning the state for long-term growth and development.

The committee is made up of former legislators and political appointees who served under previous administrations in the state. Their mandate is to outline strategic policies and development plans that could guide governance and economic progress in Abia in the years ahead.

According to Kalu, the who ruled the state for 24 years took the initiative as part of a broader effort by experienced political leaders to contribute ideas and frameworks that will help accelerate development in the state.

He noted that the blueprint would focus on practical solutions capable of strengthening key sectors and improving the overall welfare of the people of Abia.

The former governor expressed confidence that the committee members, given their experience in governance and public service, would deliver a well-structured development plan that could serve as a guide for future leadership in the state.
