It was a convergence of creme de la creme of sports administrators and stakeholders at the burial ceremony of late Pa Stephen Zira Kwaghe, father of renowned football administrator and former Chairman of Adamawa United, Emmanuel Zira. 

 

The well attended ceremony held on Tuesday in the family compound at their home town in Michika, Adamawa State.

Pa Zira, who died at the age of 104 years was survived by 8 sons and  5 daughters, and many grand and great grand children. 

 

Speaking after the burial, Zira was thankful to God for the life and times of their late father, as he described the burial ceremony, a celebration of God's grace, kindness, mercies and of a life well spent.

 

He prayed that God should repose the soul of his late father and grant him eternal rest. He also expressed his gratitude to the families, friends and associates, who came from far and wide to celebrate with his family.
