The Fix PDP, Fix Nigeria Movement has called on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to redirect the energy he has been using to undermine the Peoples Democratic Party toward issues that directly affect the safety and well being of Nigerians.

In a statement issued in Abuja, Abubakar Muktar, a member of the Fix PDP,Fix Nigeria Movement, said that Nigeria is facing urgent security challenges that demand the full attention of every senior government official. He noted that terrorism remains a serious threat and that the Federal Government needs all hands on deck to confront the escalating insecurity affecting communities across the country.

Muktar stated that instead of fueling conflicts and division within the PDP, Wike should commit the same level of intensity and passion to supporting the Federal Government to defeat terrorists and restore peace nationwide. He stressed that this is the kind of leadership Nigerians expect from a minister who occupies such a strategic position in the Federal Capital Territory.

The movement also expressed concern that Abuja, which should serve as a model for orderliness and modern urban management, continues to struggle with problems that require firm action. The group pointed specifically to the persistent presence of cattle roaming freely on major streets and residential areas within the city. According to the movement, this has no place in a modern capital city and reflects poorly on the commitment of the authorities to maintain order.

The Fix PDP, Fix Nigeria Movement said that if Wike can devote the same determination he applies to internal party battles to the cleanup and restoration of the capital city, Abuja will be safer, cleaner and more organized. The group urged him to focus on policies that improve the daily lives of residents rather than political schemes that weaken the PDP.

The movement added clearly that if the PDP cannot be fixed, Nigeria will not be fixed because the PDP remains the only political party in Nigeria with the national structure and credibility to rescue the country. They stated that anyone who cannot help fix the PDP remains cannot claim the capacity to fix Nigeria.

The movement reaffirmed its commitment to rebuilding the PDP and contributing to a more secure and prosperous Nigeria. It concluded that leaders must focus on national responsibility above personal grievances or internal rivalries.
