First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu to Declare Open 2025 Women's African Volleyball Club Championship*

 

Today, Thursday, April 4, 2025, marks the official opening of the highly anticipated 2025 Women's African Volleyball Club Championship (AWVCC25) in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory. The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, declared the tournament open, which signaled the start of a thrilling competition that is featuring 16 top clubs from across the continent.

As the Grand Patron of the championship, Senator Tinubu's presence at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium raised a lot of excitement to the event. The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) had earlier announced her role in the tournament, which is being hosted by the Nigeria Volleyball Federation and the NCS.

The championship  runs from April 1 to 14 at the multipurpose sports hall of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.
