Nigerian singer Adedamola Adefolahan, better known as Fireboy DML, has revealed he has never experienced heartbreak and now hopes to keep it that way.

The 29-year-old 'Playboy' crooner disclosed this during a recent episode of the 90s Baby Show, explaining that after speaking with women from his past relationships, he decided heartbreak at his current age could potentially derail both his personal life and professional career.

"I have never had my heart broken. I wanted to experience heartbreak but I didn't want anymore. Not at this age. I think it would ruin me," the singer admitted.

Fireboy shared his theory that most heartbreaks are self-inflicted, with people often ignoring warning signs in relationships. "Ninety percent of the time, if your heart is broken, look inward—you definitely had something to do with it," he said.

He elaborated that people frequently dismiss their instincts about problematic relationships. "There were sometimes when your instincts tell you that you shouldn't involve yourself in some relationships, but then the heart wants what it wants. We break our own hearts."

After careful consideration and conversations with former partners, the singer concluded: "It's a very painful experience. I don't think at this age, it is something I want to be involved in."
