Nigeria’s U-20 team, the Falconets will face former Champions Germany, Venezuela and South Korea in Group D of the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup holding in Colombia from 31 August to 22 September 2024.

The draw ceremony took place in Bogota, Colombia on Wednesday, where twenty four teams will participate in the competition for the first time ever.

Matches will take place in four venues, in three different cities of Cali, Bogota and Medellin.

The top two teams in each group will qualify for the round of 16, alongside the best four third-placed teams.

Meanwhile, Coach Chris Musa Danjuma has assured that the Nigeria U20 girls, Falconets, have no fears of any country in their group. 

“We have no fear about any of the teams in the finals. We know that to be the best, we have to beat the best,” said Danjuma, who took the team to the quarter-finals of the last edition in Costa Rica.
