FG releases handing over and democracy day calendar

The Federal Government has released programme of activities towards the handing over ceremony on May 29 and the Democracy day of April 12.


According to the program, on May 20, there would be a World Press Conference, while May 21- 23 will be for National Youth Entrepreneurship Empowerment Summit . May 22 will be for the Federal Executive Committees Valedictory Session, May 24 will be for Special Jumma’at Lecture and Prayer while the First Lady will Interact with Women on May 25. The Special Interdenominational Church Service will hold on May 26. Mr President will hold a Special Broadcast on May 27 for the Children and a Variety Party for them on that day. The grand finale will be on May 29, which would be the Swearing In Ceremony and State Banquet.

Also, the 2019 Democracy Day Celebration will hold from 7-12 June with Historical Exhibition in Arts, Pictures and Immersive Environment . June 9 will be for Youth Concert, Creative Industry & Entertainment Night, while June 10 has been reserved for Secondary Schools Exhibition/ Panel Discussion.

PMB Oratorical Contest, Anti Corruption Summit and First Lady’s Commissioning Program, Adamawa will take place on June 11, While June 12 will be the Democracy Day Parade, Dinner & Gala Night.
