The Federal Government has admonished the Super Eagles players in the ongoing TOTAL AFCON 2019 football tournament not to be dampened by it’s loss to Madagascar in today’s match.
In a press release which was made available to The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Mr Olusade Adesola further stated that both the Technical Crew & the Players should rather regard the defeat from a vintage angle of reassessing their strenghts & weaknesses with a view to emerging stronger and indomitable as they go into the next round of knockout stages in the competition. This according to the Permanent Secretary is a clarion call to go back to the trenches and re-strategize for a sustainable winning formula to win back the confidence reposed in them by Football loving Nigerians. Furthermore, Mr Adesola reiterated the staunch support of the Federal Government to the Super Eagles and wished them success in their next Game.
