The Oyo State Government has thrown the Lekan Salami Adamasingba Stadium gates opened for football fans to watch the Falconets to take on their Rwanda counterparts at 4pm on Sunday 27th September in the last hurdle of the world cup qualifier.

State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Hon. Wasilat Adegoke who announced this at a Press Conference in Ibadan on Thursday urged residents of the highly populated ancient city, third largest city in Africa to come cheer the Falconets to victory. 

Said she: “We want the stands to be filled. We want the Falconets to feel the strength of Ibadan and Oyo States behind them”.

Hon Adegoke promised top class relaxation with a mini cultural display laced with opportunities to relax and be entertained. It’s going to be a celebration of sports and talents”.

Patmos media reports that the Adamasingba hub is a commercial nerve with good Canteens and drinking joints which fans of the Shooting Stars recline after each match.

The State Government committed millions of Naira to ensure the match to be handled by a Gambia Referee is well organized.
