Abia Warriors Chief Coach Bethel Orji has assured the teeming supporters of the team that the Umuahia Warriors would maintain its status in the elite division of the League.

The former Julius Berger of Lagos Central Defender spoke after the Pride Of Abia played a goalless draw with Bendel Insurance of Benin, said "We will do our best to remain in the premiership, our fans should not entertain any fears, we will remain in the NPFL".

He bemoaned the losr chances in match, saying "When you refuse to make use of your chances, you suffer it at the end of the day. We will use all we have to prosecute the match in Gombe. We take every match as they come" he concluded. 

 Reacting, Bendel Insurance Head Coach, Monday Odigie said "Abia Warriors were keen to win, but the chances were not there. It was a keenly contested match,  and my boys kept their heads high".

He finally rated the match very high, and praise their tactical ability.
