The FCT Football Association (FCT FA) is deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Madam Bosede Momoh, a revered figure and one of Nigeria’s pioneering women in football officiating. A retired FIFA referee, Madam Momoh’s remarkable contributions to the beautiful game leave behind an enduring legacy.

In a statement signed by the FCT FA Chairman, Adam Mouktar Mohammed, Madam Momoh was described as more than a referee — she was a trailblazer, a mentor, and a passionate advocate for fair play, discipline, and the development of young referees, particularly women. Her impact reached far beyond Nigeria’s borders, earning her widespread admiration and respect within the global football community.

On behalf of the Chairman, Board Members, management, and the entire football family in the Federal Capital Territory, the FCT FA extends its heartfelt condolences to the Referee Council, her colleagues, friends, and most especially her beloved family.
