One High Court wey dey for Jabi area of Abuja, inside Federal Capital Territory (FCT), don order make dem remand Prof. Sani Ibrahim go Correctional Service custody on top matter wey concern conspiracy, forgery, and criminal trespass.

 

Prof. Ibrahim, wey be biochemistry lecturer for Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, dey face court alongside Mubarak Musa Saliu and some other people wey still dey on the run. Na Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, carry dem go court.

 

Dem talk say the matter na about land wahala for Guzape, Abuja, wey belong to NEXTDORA NIG. LTD. According to the people wey carry the case go court, dem accuse Prof. Ibrahim and im people say for December 2024, dem do forgery by changing the company registration number of NEXTDORA LTD from RC. 1190723 to RC. 564478 NETCAP INTERSWITCH.

 

Dem still accuse dem say dem hold fake documents and even enter the land wey no be their own by force.

 

The police first file the case for court on April 18, 2025, but the suspects no dey show up. Na so police go arrest Prof. Ibrahim for ABU Zaria come carry am enter court.

 

When dem read the charges, Prof. Ibrahim talk say him no do am (plead not guilty). Him lawyers come file Preliminary Objection, say the court no get right to hear the matter (no jurisdiction), and say the documents wey police bring get plenty error and no correct.

 

But Justice Ademuyiwa Oyeyipo no gree with dem. He talk say make Prof. Ibrahim go remand till June 19, 2025, when court go do proper bail hearing.

 

The case still dey hot, and everybody dey watch how e go take end.
