FCT Coaches Organize Business And investment Seminar
The Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA), FCT Chapter will on Thursday, June 27, 2024 hold a Business and Investment Seminar to enlighten Football Coaches and by extension players on the need for them to be conscious of improving their economic status through engaging in business and investments.
The Seminar will hold at the Indoor Multipurpose Sports Centre at the Old Parade Ground, Abuja with effect from 9am.
Football Coaches in FCT will have the opportunity to hear from business and investments experts from the Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) and the President, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Staff Multipurpose Co-operative Society Limited. Also to make presentation at the Seminar are resource persons from Alliance and General Insurance PLC, Dundee Venture Housing Services and NIRSAL Microfinance Bank. Dr Mohammed Umar Ibrahim of the Entrepreneurship Department of Nasarawa State University, Keffi shall be the Key Resource person.
The Association views this action as a very important step towards the reorientation of Coaches and Players in particular of the need for them to make a retirement plan as they come to learn how to engage in small scale businesses and also invest part of their proceeds from their professional practice.
